Products Limited develops, manufactures and sells Whole Leaf Cold Processed Aloe Vera Products for humans and animals.  The amount of solids in a filleted Aloe Vera is normally 1,000 to 1,200 mg/l of
methanol precipitable solids. Whereas, a whole leaf Aloe Vera normally contains 5,000 to 9,000
mg/l precipitable solids.Most companies selling Aloe Vera today use only the fillet of the leaf. They cannot use the gelatinous gel and rind of the leaf as they do not have the expertise to remove the Aloin. The Aloin lies between the outer rind
and the fillet of the leaf. So companies only using the fillet are throwing away 80% of the plant's active ingredients.Aloin is a strong laxative which for obvious reasons is not wanted in the product. It
shortens the transit time through the gut at the same time as irritating it. This can effect absorption of certain drugs, such as the oral contraceptive pill. There is also an
increased risk of first trimester abortion (during the first twelve weeks of pregnancy).  Our Aloe Vera plants are organic. They grow in Mexico and Australia on land devoid of intensive farming, where the rich virgin alluvial soil is high in nutrients.
